Schertz Bank & Trust, with 30 stockholders and about $11,800.00, opened for business in June of 1913 as Schertz State Bank. Today, banking is very different; however, Schertz Bank & Trust still conforms to the small town community bank's standards of friendly, personal service with a smile! Bank serves and we will continue to serve the citizens of Schertz, Kirby, Seguin, San Marcos, New Braunfels and the surrounding areas for years to come.
