Nykredit is different. It is a bank. And a mortgage provider too. But in one important area it is different: Nykredit is owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, it is in a unique position to give something back to the customers when it is doing well. Nykredit is a financial mutual, governed by its customers, and it's been like that for more than 160 years. It has over 1 million customers and some 4,000 staff.
