Been with BMO since i was old enough to have a debit card - when I started my business I went with them. Okay bank for personal banking but, business side has been an absolute nightmare.

I've been a customer of BMO Bank of Montreal for a while now, and my experience has been quite positive. They offer a great range of services, from everyday checking accounts to mortgages and personal loans. The online banking platform is straightforward and convenient, making it easy for me to manage my finances, transfer money, and pay bills right from my phone. I appreciate that they often have helpful promotions for new accounts and their customer service is generally responsive and friendly. While there are occasional fees associated with certain accounts, the overall convenience and variety of options available at BMO make it a reliable choice for my banking needs.

What did you like most and least about your experience with the Firm?

What I liked most about my experience with the firm was their attentive and knowledgeable staff, who always made me feel valued as a customer. They took the time to understand my financial needs and provided tailored solutions that really helped me manage my finances better. The user-friendly online platform was another highlight, as it allowed me to perform transactions and access information quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, what I liked least was the occasional wait time during peak hours at the branches. While the staff was exceptional once I was helped, there were times when I had to wait longer than I would have liked to speak with someone.

What recommendations would you make to the Bank and to other businesses considering engaging this Firm?

Recommendations to BMO Bank of Montreal: Improve Branch Wait Times: Invest in staffing optimization or technology solutions to reduce wait times during peak hours. This could include expanding self-service options, implementing appointment scheduling more broadly, or increasing staffing during busy periods. Review and Simplify Fee Structure: Consider simplifying the fee structure and ensuring fees are competitive within the market.

The bank was responsive to the issue that was resolved within minutes. The result was a quick financial transfer to my account and the result was amazing. It was a genuine success and a pleasure to engage in business with the people. The provided a couple of solutions to the issue and were impressive with their people skills within the organization.

The firm was prompt and courteous in the response to the issue and handled the matter with respect for all parties involved in the business. The firm can work on the technology.

What recommendations would you make to the Bank and to other businesses considering engaging this Firm?

Recommendations include to upgrade their technology and include more people in the process to resolve an issue. The issue was resolved quickly and immediately.
