Five Star Bank

Just like I have seen many people say in reviews "if I could have rated zero stars,I would have. My car dealer signed me up for a new car loan using this bank on or before February 20, 2024. I picked up the new car from the dealer on February 21, 2024. It was not until March 14, 2024 that I heard from this bank in any way, shape, or form. I got a phone call. What I found out about the loan at that time was that my first payment was due on March 22, 2024. Imagine that. 8 days away from my payment due date, and I knew nothing about this loan. Would U get a bill every month or a payment book? I was told that I woul be getting a payment book, and that there is a 10 day grace period. How about today is March 19, 2024, and I have yet to receive a payment book! Unacceptable and unbelievable. That's right, 3 days before my first payment is due and I have yet to receive a payment book! I had bad feelings about this bank right from the start. On Friday March 15,2024, I went to Broadview FCU and applied to refinance the loan through them. Today, March 19, 2024, the loan was finalized. My first payment is due on April 13 2024. The loan officer mentioned that the loan would be a little over the amount borrowed, plus per diem. And that if they received too much money, they would send me a refund check in the mail. I laughed and said "I wonder how long it will take them to mail THAT out?" Stay away from this bank at all costs! I think they were setting me up to ruin my credit! Save yourself the hassle of getting the loan refinanced, and go elsewhere in the first place.
