The history of the Chandler Family that owns Fidelity State Bank & Trust Company dates back to 1883. The Chandler Family has been active in Kansas since then and operates the following independent community banks; Fidelity State Bank & Trust Company in Topeka, Kansas, First Bank of Newton, Kansas, and Intrust Bank, N.A., Wichita, the largest Kansas owned bank.
