Payment Facilitator (PayFac)

A master merchant account that functions as an underwriter for sub-merchants and streamlines and expedites the merchant registration process. As a result, sub-merchants are no longer required to connect directly with a purchasing bank. Sub-merchants that have been onboarded will be covered by the master MID of PayFac and are not required to obtain a merchant ID (MID).
