Payee

A payee is an individual, enterprise, or entity that obtains payment from another party. In financial dealings, the payee is the recipient or beneficiary of accounts. The payee can be someone, such as when a person acquires a paycheck or a personal gain, a company, organization, or institution, when a bill is settled, or when a supplier is reimbursed for goods or services generated.
