Open ended Funds
An open-end fund, which is a varied portfolio of investor funds pooled together, may issue an unlimited number of shares. The current net asset value (NAV) governs these shares' daily pricing. Certain mutual funds, hedge funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) fall within the category of open-end funds. A variable capital investment fund that is obligated to redeem any outstanding units at their net asset value and has the ability to issue new units on demand.
