Lease purchase agreement

A lease purchase agreement, also known as a rent-to-own agreement, is a contract that combines elements of a lease agreement and a purchase agreement. It allows a tenant to lease a property for a specified period of time with the option to purchase the property at the end of the lease term. A portion of the rent paid during the lease period may be credited towards the purchase price.
