Initial Farm Offering (IFO)

Decentralized finance (DeFi) companies employ an initial farm offering, or IFO, to obtain money to introduce and disperse their native tokens to the general public. It resembles an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in some ways, but it concentrates on farming or other yield-generating pursuits inside the DeFi network rather than cryptocurrencies.
