Cognovit note

A cognovit note, also known as a confession of judgment, is a legal document or agreement in which a borrower consents in advance to a creditor obtaining a judgment against them in the event of default. It essentially allows the creditor to obtain a judgment without going through the typical legal process. Cognovit notes are not enforceable in all jurisdictions and may be subject to legal restrictions.
