Carry Trade

A way to invest in which a person borrows money in a currency with a low interest rate and puts it into assets in another country where the interest rates are higher. Most of the time, carry trade flows seem to be based on a big and stable difference in interest rates, but it's possible that other aspects of returns, like different growth and profit expectations, could also play a role.
