3D Secure

3D Secure, also known as 3DS or Three-Domain Secure, is an authentication protocol used to enhance the security of online credit and debit card transactions. It was developed by major card networks, including Visa (Verified by Visa), Mastercard (Mastercard SecureCode), and American Express (SafeKey), to provide an additional layer of protection against unauthorized use of cards for online purchases.
